Is that what that one thing was, a yardstick?  I thought it was a piano hinge, LOL.

When I was a kid, my  violin teacher never used a yardstick on my hands, it was a wooden cribbage board. She was trying to teach me vibrato.

The guy is good. Wonder if he's Irish.

He is french canadian :) not irish, the violin is pretty much our traditional instrument here in Quebec.
