Thank you everyone.  Needless to say, I am a happy camper, but a good deal of credit needs to be given to Fiddlerman for finding GCV and these models to begin with and offering them at such a good price.

Video of this violin in action to come either today or this weekend...

Never mind maneuvers, just go straight at them.

Wow Lyle, we should hire you to take pictures for us. :)

Great pictures. Are you a photographer?

Hope you are ok with us using this picture? If the strings were the same as original (the strings that come with the soloist) we would have hoped for your permission to use more. :)

Please PM me if this is a problem for you.

@Fiddlerman  I'm what might be called an amateur photographer, yes, haha.  It's mostly just a hobby but occasionally I have made a little profit off of it.

I can send you all the pictures I took of the Kreisler in a better quality then the ones I placed here on the forum.  Use them in any way you'd like, :)

I can even switch out the Zyex strings back to the Dominants and shoot some more photos if that is preferable?  I don't mind taking pictures and a violin is such an interesting subject, so it's no trouble on my end.

Great shots for sure. Don't go out of your way Lyle. I may take you up on photos for the future though. :)

Just sent some new pics to Mike for you guys. :)

I switched the Zyex for the Dominants for the photos, but I was also interested in trying them out since you said you liked them so much.  After playing for a few hours on them, I have to say they do sound really good.  On my instrument they have a brighter, cheerier sound then the Zyex strings did, but I also noticed a tendency to squeal a little bit, especially on open strings.  That could be my playing which is mediocre at best, but I didn't notice that when I had the Zyex set on.

I want to try a set of Larsens one day.  I hear good things, ;)
