We have a generous member with the username "BenPrice" who is giving away a used black CEVN-1 Cecilio Silent Electric Violin. He has already shipped it to Fiddlershop and we are holding it for the give-away. If you know of anyone who is sincerely deserving and does not already have a violin, or perhaps a school who does good things for their students but with real bad funding, please post it here and we'll talk about it. :-)

I don't want to be the sole decider here but I would prefer to feel as though a deserving person will be receiving the violin. Not everyone can use a silent electric violin either. They are best used with effects and or good amps or as practicing devices.

So let's brainstorm as to who might be deserving of the BenPrice SE violin. :-)

Thanks Ben

Eh- I'd enter in this giveaway if not for the fact that I already have a Yinfente 5-string electric (which, I think is identical to the CEVN-1 'cept bigger fingerboard and neck)

Maybe the Landfillharmonic kids might like this.

The problem with the Land Fill kids is that they probably don't have amplifiers. :-(
Great idea though!

I don't know...Those kids look pretty resourceful. I'm sure they could figure out a way to fashion an amp out of something. And it probably wouldn't even need electricity to work!

LOL true.
But seriously guys. I'll find someone to give it to but if anyone has any suggestions.
