I never get a notice about the reviews so it's a good thing that you are telling me. Will go in and approve it right away.

Hey everyone. The chin-rest kit is stuck at the first recipients home. I was thinking that it would be in motion constantly. Anyone who wants to test out a chin-rest is welcome to buy it. I am amazed that it isn't on backorder. The most you can loose is $20 if you decide that you are not interested in purchasing any of the rests. Unless of course you never return them......

Hi Fiddlerman,

Assumed I could hold the chin rest kit for a week, as it arrived last Thursday, thinking you might tell me to send it to someone else.  So it will be in the mail, back to you, tomorrow, unless you tell me otherwise.  I'm happy I tried it and am looking forward to my Teka in the mail. : )  thumbs-up

Thanks Dee, I did too. Noone else bought it. Fiddlershop pays the postage so I will be sending you a PDF to your email address. You should be receiving your Teka any day.

I just realized that Fiddlershop will probably not be able to keep the chin-rest kit available.

Sending the kit cost me $8.

If someone doesn't buy a chinrest they pay a fee of $20 which covers the shipping 2 ways, but if they buy one I usually make a profit of between $2-10 depending on which one they choose. The rests that are traveling included in the kit can never be sold as new and may be damaged along the way.

Having the rests travel from member to member alleviates half of the shipping costs.

Three members have now tried the Chin-rest kit and it is ready to travel to the next member. Problem is that there is non at the moment to send to. Are you interested? If so, simply go on Fiddlershop.com and buy it. Only two can buy it at once. First come first serve.

The chin-rest kit is stuck at Holly's house. This is probably the last chance for anyone to get it since it really isn't working out for me. If you would like to have the kit sent to you just puchase it within the next 2-3 days.

Thanks

Well, I think I was the 2nd person or so to get it and I bought 2. I really appreciate that offer Pierre. One of my main problems learning violin is shoulder and chin adjustment and I'm really happy with what I have now. Thank you!

Well it's definitely not a money maker in any case. Now I have used chin-rests. It's very costly to send that box around too. I suppose people could wipe it down with a rag and some alcohol if they needed to.

You know it. :-)
But you can't say I didn't try right?
