So I saw Fred is endorsing this case. I don't have facebook so I can't ask him there so figured I'd say something here. Does anyone have any of these cases? I'm looking at maybe getting one of the fiberglass cases, I really like it. But my main question is...will the Slipper fit in the case?! My violin only cost $500 and these cases are half that lol. Maybe an excuse to upgrade my violin?! (Too bad I'm broke right now.)

@Hman;,,, I think this is typical of human ingenuity to think of one thing and not another. Like making all the add-on's for musical instrument's with no thought where to put them for transport or everyday storage beside's carrying them seperately outside the case.

Just make the case's 3" longer with that area of the inside of the top open along with the bottom, using velcro strap's to hold down any object (shoulder rest) so the top will close even if the item protrude's above center line of the inside of the case. A mirrow of the bottom half.

I think Naska / Mad_Wed has a case that will accept her shoulder rest, she bought from the "Fiddlershop.com".    I think.  facepalm

They look nice and are priced well. Let us know if we can help you in any way at Fiddlershop.
