We are. And we have a mate whos coming back over from Canada who will be joining us once he gets here. He was the main guitarist in the group and had fantastic fingers. We've bought a mixing deak and speakers so we are getting ready fir our first 'live ' performance, and I have been practicing like a nutter trying to make sure my note choice and intonation is better.

we are also going to learn a tune called  Lannigans Ball, to give me a fiddle solo spot

I was born with nothing,
and to my surprise I still have most of it left!

been struggling to do a video of me playing the Traveller, so today I had an idea, do a few photos and overlay me playing the fuddle as the pictures run through as a slideshow.

Here is a taster of one of my pictures....

@TerryT That last video was very nice, I liked the bass in it! Love the pictures too, I think that is a great idea.

Don't worry Terry. It's not obligated. Pictures are great too. Thanks
Also, great idea if you feel like it.

Hi, everyone. It's been a while since I've been able to check in here. I know it's time for the Traveler to move on to the next host, but I've been so busy that I haven't had time to get that going. Can someone else take over for a while coordinating its travels? I just have too many other things going on right now to devote my attention to it. Someone? Anyone? Please?

Yes I still have it. I need the details of the next one in line, as I am procrastinating with my recording and need a shove and a deadline to get it sorted

There are only 2 more people on the list who are not in the US. I'm trying to contact them and will let you know as soon as I receive a reply. Donald Telfer and augustoad. I do not have an email address for Donald, nor do I know his username here on the forum. I'm sending a PM to augustoad to see if he's ready to accept the traveler.

Meanwhile, if anyone else is willing to take over for a while, it would be a great help to me. I'm so busy right now.

Please let me know what Naska says. I've messaged @augustoad and he's ready and willing to host it, but if Naska is interested, then we can send it to him next month. I just need to know for sure. Thanks.

Also, if anyone knows how to message Donald Telfer, please let me know. He's up next.

Donald Telfer's username on this forum is Donald, chosen because it is easier to remember than other usernames. (No relation to The Donald, also a Donald T.)

Donald Telfer tends to monitor to the Viola site http://www.violaman.com and does not watch the Violin site http://www.fiddlerman.com

Sorry about that.

I am sure my username on violaman.com is Donald also.

Donald's viola, if it was computer literate, would tell you that it is looking forward to meeting the travelling violin. There are also two American reed organs, a New England and an Estey, looking forward to photo opportunities with a famous violinage.

I think there is a good prospect that by the end of November the travelling violin will have added Denmark, Germany, the United Arab Emirates, and Australia to its peripatetic adventures, and will then be en route to Brasil from Australia, I expect.

Donald
