If it is the same as in the old Suzuki book, it's the same concerto, 3rd mvt.

I just can't wait to get to the Bach Double Concerto at the end of Book 4. I love that piece, and can't believe I'll actually be playing Real Music!! amuse

Not that everything before that isn't real music, but, you know...BACH!!!!

Since I'm not technically a beginner yet. I would love to learn how to play 'The story of a soldier' from the old western 'The Good The Bad The Ugly'. For some reason I just like that tune.

Is that the main theme song or another one? If it is not the main theme, where in the movie is it? I have the DVD.

That's a very pretty song. amuse I think I'd like to learn that one, too.

Well it's been like 10 years since I saw the movie but I've always remembered the song. I believe its in the part where Blondie(Clint 'The Good') was either in the war or walking through what was left of a war battle and a group of soldiers were singing the song while a soldier was playing the harmonica. But I'm not really sure.

I am thinking of Vincent (Starry Starry Night)

Here is a video of the original with paintings by Van Gogh.

I enjoyed that David. Both "Starry Starry Night" and the paintings.

Thanks for the post. Now for my morning coffee2

I had seen most of his famous work, never studied art. I had no idea he had such a depth of style. I almost want to pause the video to look longer at some of them, but I like the song so much, I can't bring myself to do it!

Is that you playing Mustang. Regardless, that is a young lady who is REALLY into what she is playing, the smile at the end tells it best.
