I'm selling my J. Hollandar bow. I got it from a member on this forum a couple years ago. It's a great looking bow, it just doesn't sound right on my violin and it's on the heavy side. I prefer lighter bows.

It's pernambuco with an octagonal stick and ebony frog. It also has that fancy design inlaid into the frog.

I paid $80 for this bow new. I haven't used it a lot and it still looks brand new. I'll ask for $60 plus shipping. Shipping is usually around $10 for the United States.

This bow is dying to be purchased by someone who will use it more often. smilehollander-bow.jpgImage Enlarger

Hi Mustang,

I'm very interested in your bow. It looks beautiful!

I do have a few questions if you don't mind answering them.smile

1. Is the bow for a full size 4/4 violin?

2. Is the hair still in good, playable condition?

3. What is the winding on it made of?

4. What's your preference for receiving payment?

If you prefer to answer any, or all of these questions in private, please feel free to PM me.

Thanks,

Robin

Full size bow.
Hair is in great condition. There should be a good year left before you would need to rehair, unless you practice 10 hours a day or something. laugh
Faux whalebone winding.
Paypal works great for payment.

Thanks. smile
