I purchased quite a few bows, because the price was right if I bought 36 by 6-7 different makers…all are new and straight as an arrow…I hand selected each one. I have sold them locally, to some of my advancing students, and within the States and abroad also. I think the farthest away was Sweden.

I have a few left and am selling them for $95.00 plus $9.50 for USPS priority shipping to the lower 48. Payment can be through paypal or by check. Although extremely well packed, insurance will be at your discretion for an additional $3.00 charge.

If interested I can forward photos and descriptions to you directlyviolin-student …USE EMAIL TO CONTACT ME   smshct@charter.net

Sent to your email address…thanks for looking. Don't be scared off by the low prices…although not a Tourte, or Finkel, these are NOT junk.

Don't like it? Return it…can't be any more fair than that now, can I?

Check around and see what you can get for a hundred bucksviolin-student

SMSHCT - Barry is right, he wasn't rude.

If you want to post on this forum please respect the members.

I am sure that Barry was interested in buying one of your bows originally but this turns people off.

What turns people off...

  • the clarification that the bow he hyperlinked was damaged???
  • ansering his question if the bow was new?
  • answering his question if the hair was fresh?

what did I do that "turns people off?" TELL ME!!!

Just the way it was done. Maybe you don't know that in chat capital letters are the same as yelling. Sarcasm in this case as well. Just my opinion. We have a very friendly forum here.

No problem. Sometimes people read our posts differently than how we intend for them to be read.

I have also used capital letters in some of my comments.  I am sorry. No offence intended.

I'm also looking for bows. What do you do SMSHCT?

Yeah, we should think about CAPS. It does mean yelling in the email n text chat world(s). I thought gstretch was being rude but found out he just likes to chat 😉

well apparantly this has developed into a thread to bash SMSHCT. that's fine I suppose…i was raised with the "sticks and stones" theory.

I take no offense at any rocks being tossed my way

should anyone wish to obtain a nice violin bow as described at the tippy top of this thread, I can still accomodate you but contact me directly at my personal email address          smshct@charter.net

I certainly hope the use of blue- colored font is not another construed insult here in cyber land

both Ferra bows have been sold as well as two Hollander bows

my supply is now getting limited so if you are still looking and thinking, I am still able to accomodate you and can send photos. I never figured ou how to upload pics onto this site

smshct@charter.net

bow = $95.00

USPS priority = $9.50 (not making any profit - costs me a tad more than that)

paypal charges me so if you want to use it, tack on $4.00 or you can send check or M.O.

Just rosined up my J.Hollander. I'm glad you're liking your bow Mustang. When I first saw SMSHCT I didn't like his text chat either. I thought he was just a kid or something but he's a senior and maybe he just doesn't understand the text world.

And I asked in another thread that maybe you missed but what part of MN are you from Mustang. That's where I'm from too.
