Yus. Bracelets made out of violin strings!

Mind you, I don't buy strings just to make bracelets out of them. I use old or broken ones. laugh

Here are pictures of a bracelet I made with an A string (I know, I didn't put enough beads on it):

The gold piece in the middle was the ball end to the string.

So, I can make you one of these bracelets for $10. Just tell me what kind of beads and what color you would like. amuse

I can make necklaces too! A necklace price would be $17.

I can also put charms on your bracelet, but it would cost more. I made a bracelet with a Pegasus charm on it once, but the charm cost $2! So, unless I can find a place that has cheaper charms, they cost $2 each. yell

You can also pick what string you want a bracelet made out of. I have G, D, A and E right now. You might have to wait a while, though, if you want G or D. I don't have beads big enough for those ones. I'd have to look for some.

And.. give me a measurement of your wrist before I start making a bracelet. I don't want it to be too big or too small. xD

If you'd like to buy a bracelet, send me an email telling me what you want. My email is fireclawkitty@aol.com

And I promise, I will put enough beads your bracelet. xD

The first one was just a test. I'll be more careful with the next ones. smile

Oh, and if you want some info about the strings that your bracelets will be made out of..

The strings I have now came off of a supposedly vintage Lewis and Son violin. I don't know how vintage the violin really is, but I'd say the strings could be 20 years old!

That's a pretty creative way to recycle and make a product. I heard of a guy that uses his broken guitar strings to make fishing leaders.
