Tremolo is a rapid back and forth movement of the bow on the same note. Tremolo comes from the word trembling and is an articulation to that nature. When playing soft tremolo you try to use as little bow as possible and when playing extremely strong tremolo you play longer slower strokes with your bow. Always be careful not to over do the intensity of tremolo when playing big symphonies for long periods of time with tremolo. You can easily hurt and tier your arm and shoulder.

BELTANE! Happy May Day Fiddlers![reply]ELCBK
For Strabo – VERY tiny box at the bottom of the page! Don’t know how anyone sees it on a phone. 🤣Strabo
I guess I’m a little late to the party — I never knew there were different themes! No wonder I play the fiddle like a goofer…Mouse
For ELCBK – Seems to be a couple I don’t recall being there, and maybe some no longer available. Maybe Simple Press changes it up periodically.Mouse
Every once in a while, when I log in, it reverts to that Ice Blue and I have to select Berries-n- Cream again.Mouse
For ELCBK – I have always used them. I have Berrie-n-Cream for this site. In the Money on Violaman. The Ice Blue(?) default one is too light for me to be able to read.Recent Forum Posts
