And again.. one little kid cut loose with what looked like a quarter. That is not going to buy a lot of root beer for that many musicians. Ah well, at least the one kid had some manners.
LOL

LOL. . .
I didn't really mean exactly that presentation, I just thought a simple tune like that would be great for all levels of play with more experienced players adding that pizzazz.
How about it Pierre? Or maybe a vote. I for one just love these group projects. Even Naska's surprise project was so much fun.

Love the Flash mob kids conduction at 3:26 and 3:40!! Nothing I love more than kids taking an interest in music. If it is fun for them...it is fun for everyone. We just forget how to let go and conduct!!
Love the vid!
As for Pierres wish... Tell us all when to be a the reunion and we'll all go do a flashmob somewhere! It would be spectacular!!

Well unfortunetly, I am not going to be able to participate like I wanted. I have been so busy with work and life, not to mention having Ole Roy at the Luthier for nearly two weeks, that I feel I cannot contribute. This may not be a bad thing though. I was so consumed with the Violin 4 YouTube Project, that I was neglecting my other violin duties. Like...learning the OTHER notes on the violin. (Yea, I learned there was more than three notes!!)
I was so tired of playing the same three notes yeterday evening, that I printed out Ode to Joy, just for something different. I also learned that with more notes, I enjoyed the song more. Not because Bile Em was a bad song, but because I knew Ode to Joy. I knew what it was suppose to sound like , so I could correct myself. With Bile Em, I know nothing about the song, so I no not know if I am on key, or off. To high or to low. SO I am going to graciously bow out of this contest so I can focus on learning the violin more and learning new notes, new songs and fixing my bowing. (less shoulder, I remembered Pierre!)
Maybe by the time of the next project, I will have enough confidence in my playing that I will join the project and blow everyone away. Good Luck to everyone who participated. Can't wait to see the finished project!!

HAHAHAHA ... It's my turn to laugh. I actually got my entry in !!!
Of course i wouldn't have if I'd kept procrastinating like I've been doing for weeks. Just happened the other day I had a stern talking to (by me), which was motivation enough to dig out the camera and get going. Of course I could've done with another year's practise, but it wasn't to be.
I even got out the dusty old flanny shirt and straw hat, then added a big belly and braces. The total effect, I'm sure you'll all agree, is laughable, but will distract you from my playing.
Come on cobbers ... Aussie Aussie Aussie ... Oi Oi Oi ...
If you think you can, or you think you can't, you're probably right.
