annyj I feel your pain! It took me forever to do the relatively simple job of stitching together the audio and video for my submission, even with help (I have an electric violin so had to use a separate output to record the sound). And then Sprend wouldn't work for me. I do hope @Fiddlerman has been able to access my videos through Google Drive and I haven't made things too difficult >_<
@PopFiddle I'm not sure if this will help but you can subscribe to the Fiddlerman Group Projects section of the forum by clicking on the "Group RSS" button next to the heading on the main forums page. Then you should get notifications of any new projects.
I can't wait to see the finished project, even if my video doesn't make it!

I'm sending my video to you now, hopefully Sprend will work for me (it's uploading now). As badly as I'd hoped to make something better, with more/any Christmas decorations and less bow screeching, I couldn't.
*takes deep breath*
Why is it I can play this thing perfectly when I'm sitting on my couch, but the instant there's a track to go along with it I screw up? Anyway, hope it's not TOO too late...

Wonderful! Thanks again for the opportunity to do this. I really have enjoyed these projects. As a stay at home mom of 3 young kids there's not a lot of time to do something purely for my own enjoyment... These projects give me a nice small goal to work towards and the end result is totally worth it.

Thank you SO much @Fiddlerman and everyone - what a great video it turned out to be!
It was fantastic to be able to show this to my family, and I really enjoyed watching everyone.
(It was also excellent to be able to compare myself to other players and see how my posture etc. could be improved which isn't easy to assess when you're learning on your own!) ^_^
Merry Christmas all!

Great job everyone! (Except for me of course)
And a big thank you to @Fiddlerman for being generous and including mine.

That's a good question, I partially had the same issue. My bowing was a lot more 'aggressive' without trying to play with a track. I think it might help us if we practiced with some play-along in addition to our normal practice
It's easy to play any musical instrument: all you have to do is touch the right key at the right time and the instrument will play itself. Johann S.Bach
