About a week ago...

Lately, this is how my practice begins... not with scales. 

Only audio, so you'll just have to imagine the acrobatics with my viola (Edgar) & bowing arm, while constantly dodging my fluffy feline's fervor.  Had a moment to mitigate the situation when he turned his attention to the cell phone (rustling) and he did lay down for a few seconds, before back at it.  

...it's a battle of wills that usually ends in a compromise - we play 'fetch', then I continue practicing. 

Wouldn't it be great if we could just switch on our fingers

for playing fast - like this? 

I'm sure everyone's seen this... ha, ha - 5 strings is not a violin? 🤬 

...and just when you thought it couldn't get any worse! 

...maybe I just need an 'attitudinal' adjustment.  

I love shorts... some are creative.
