Yeah, cats are a part of my everyday life and one thinks I speak his language on the fiddle... anyway, here's a scene from a film made by a production company that would later go on to support the animation of many Studio Ghibli films.
'Goshu & the Cat', from "Gauche the Cellist" (1982) - great story where a cat, bird, raccoon-dog, and a mouse, each help guide a young cellist (who's almost kicked out of the orchestra) work through his mistakes & weaknesses playing the cello!
...the poor cat gets the worst of it, as Goshu takes out his anger on the music.

The Three Stooges had a bunch of shorts released by the Columbia Picture Studio starting in the 30's , up thru the 50's... none were as corny as Spike Jones.
I had mentioned Larry Fine, a while back (all the links to clips are no good, so deleted).
Another one of the few comedic actors you'll see in film who looks like he actually knows how to play the violin - because he does! Many people don't know that before joining "The Three Stooges" - Larry Fine was a Classical Violinist destined for study at a European Conservatory, but WWI intervened.
Here's some better clips.
A Tarantula!
Rhythm and Weep
Swingin' The Alphabet - yep, Larry gets a moment to swing on the fiddle!

Can't decide on the tempo you want to play your music?
Have the Government do it for you! 😳🤣
...I'm making light of this absurdity, but it's really disgusting & everyone should be aware that this kind of idiosy STILL happens.
Adam's got some cool advice - maybe if this video would go viral... I always have hope.
