That's hilarious, but let's talk about the obvious.... You must be too. rofl
I used to love that series but it's been a while.

That's kinda freaky! 😶
Usually I understand fluttery movement, or animals on the screen - but Granny's voice? 🤣

I know, right?  Even with something like that, she would just look for a few seconds--not stare at it like she was doing with this.

That would be a story--I don't much care for Beverly Hillbillies (not now, nor years ago).  I had been watching M*A*S*H, and left the room to do some chores, came back & found Suki engrossed with the TV.  Sat down next to her, and she still continued to watch.  Weirdo cat.  I just left the room again, and let her finish watching the episode.

I look back & have to confess I was drawn to the Beverly Hillbillies' because of the great theme song - still LOVE that song!  Geez... might've missed out on learning folks eat squirrel & 'possum, if I hadn't watched a few of those episodes! 🤭

Talk about another great theme song... 'Suicide Is Painless' (M*A*S*H)!  Thomas Beckman does a wonderful VIOLA COVER.

...ever eat Tony Packo Pickles?  M*A*S*H character 'Klinger' was from Toledo & loved the Tony Packo Cafe - there were numerous references made in the show.  I've been there, but some of their products are available in grocery stores (can purchase from their site, too).  Would normally have some on this Holiday, but I'm doing great on my diet without them. 🙄

In the Season 9 (1980) episode "A War for All Seasons", the hospital unit orders a batch of sausage casings from Tony Packo's to use in a blood-filtering machine (a crude artificial kidney).

...I liked Klinger, his character was a bit of a scrounger - could find/get anything anyone needed.

That was funny. My younger daughter's dog was watching a movie about a dog with me when we were visiting, They all went to the zoo, and I had to stay there because I over did it with my knee the day before. The dog just sat there at the end of the sofa just watching. Every once in a while she would point her beautiful shepherd ears up, or cock her head. I used to have that video. It was from the back end though. The face was not in it. I didn't want to move and disturb her. I did the backend video to show my daughter. She said their dog does that lot. She got up close and personal to the screen during one of those dog show competitions the first time she did it. There was a video of that and it was so funny. I wonder what they are thinking?

My other daughter had a cat that was very connected to my daughter. I would not have believed this if I had not seen it when we visited. The cat had conversations with my daughter. I doubt the cat knew what my daughter said, but she responded every time with a different sound and tone, She followed my daughter around and my daughter would talk to her. Sometimes the cat came up to my daughter and started the conversation. Looked right at my daughter. I used to hear the cat try to have conversations with my daughter when we talked on the phone. Her other cats did not do that.

I love the way Suki is sitting there! Too funny!

I remember that episode!  As soon as I read Klinger & Tony Packo Café, I remembered the sausage casings for the kidney “machine”.  Never had the pickles… found the site online, though--may have to order some smile

I think a lot of dogs & cats like the TV.  I guess there’s that DOGTV channel for dogs to watch, and Cat Box TV for cats.

I can relate to your daughter & her cat.  Suki is very focused on my voice.  If I am talking on the phone, she gets very frustrated with me because I’m talking, but not at her.

The way Suki sits is called a “Buddha sit” of a “Fold sit” (for the Scottish Fold breed that is known to sit this way).  Suki doesn’t have any Scottish Fold in her (according to DNA test I had done on her), but other cats are known to do it, too.  I guess Scottish Folds have health problems, & some say that’s why they sit that way—but Suki is completely healthy; I think she’s just comfortable that way.

Now, as for her questionable taste in TV programming, I don't have a good answer for that. smile

1960s Tom and Jerry is often unwatchable, but this ep isn't bad and contains some nice violin jokes. It's a bit chopped up.

Difficult to piece together from all the rubbish on Youtube!

They certainly shouldn't need those keyboards (if that isn't ambiguous)!

Since a few of us are dieting here (including me!), thought this very appropriate...

@SharonC -

🤣 Yeah, I figured my Talent & Caffiene % should not be the only things switched - my 'Unrivaled Skill' & Passion, TOO!

I was in such a FABULOUS mood this morning - got a new scale that talks to me!

Found out I lost a bunch of weight! 🤗

THEN, discovered the A.I. is completely delusional if it isn't sitting on a hard, perfectly flat surface! 😵‍💫

...let's just say - I'm soooooo tempted to keep weighing myself on the carpet. 🙄

I had to buy a new scale about a month ago--it started acting wacko (and it was on a hard surface); guess it was just worn out.  I'd put a dumbbell on it 3 times, and get 3 different numbers.

I guess carpet is like an anti-gravity thing smile

Good old Tom and Jerry. 🙂 I love how a lot of the oldies have classical music themes.
