November 10, 2012 I ordered a "Concert Master" violin from the "Fiddlershop". November 16, 2012 I ordered a CF/carbon fiber bow. When I received the bow,(packed expertly) in the "tube", I proceeded to play it for 7 or 8 hour's, it just didn't feel quite right to me, it was too heavy for my liking so I returned it a couple day's later. It weighed in at 62 gram's. The bow had a really nice sound and I felt bad about returning it.There was not a problem returing the bow, Mike at the "Fiddlershop" was very gracious about the return.

Talking with Pierre on the phone, he said he would search for a lighter bow although he only had about 400 piece's to search through. That was almost 4 month's ago and I heard nothing from him and didn't want to bug him about it so I just let it slide. Saturday I opened my e-mail and there was a notice from "FIddlershop", saying a package had been shipped, I couldn't imagine what it could be, Friday evening I was browsing the "FIddlershop" pages and thinking of ordering another set of string's, but I thought again and decided not to. Today I heard some rustling at my door, when I opened the door, there stood "the tube", a new bow was sent. He hadn't forgotten me. I opened the bow, rosined it for several minute's and began to play, WOW, what a beautifull thing, the weight is perfect, 59 gram's. I immediately called the "Fiddlershop" and thanked Pierre for not forgetting. Of course I paid for it at that time.

I have purchased quite a few item's from "Fiddlershop" and will continue to shop there.

Fiddlershop is the place to go, Pierre and Mike are stand up people and alway's delighted to help their fellow musician's.

Thank's again, Pierre and Mike for the great service you provide. My hat goes off to you.

I played with a carbon fiber bow today. It is a bit different, but I did like it. I think for an Easter present this year, i think I'll order me one. I like the look and the response. I too have ordered from fiddlershop and was extremely please with the whole process. When you order on the internet, it is always refreshing to know you don't have to worry about the source, the handling or the product.

I've purchased a CF violin bow, viola bow, pickup, Pro Arte strings from the Fiddle Shop and have been happy with them all.

The only problem with buying 'larger' items such as my viola is that the postage to Australia is a killer because of size and weight.

I will keep buying the smaller stuff. I haven't got a bad deal yetthumbs-up

Seen it all. Done it all. Can't remember most of dunno ..... What was I saying???? facepalm
