There are work crews around here that avoid working all day and they are very healthy (with the right sun screen and enough flavored water)
I must take some things in the right attitude having been the recipient of 30,000 volts in the knee ( only 1/2 amp) and a later performance with 1000 volts at 10 amps involving both hands. My left hand had to be reconstructed during a month stay in the hospital. Maybe I would never have played the violin if things didn't work out. I was destined to play ( then why am I not famous ?)
All's well that ends well
Wow, did the current travel from hand to hand, across your chest? You are a lucky man. You probably know .065 amps (depending on who you talk to) across your heart is enough to stop the muscles in your heart.
You are famous here, Oliver!

I can only guess that it was one hand to another because my right hand was also scarred but not as bad and there were 2 wires involved. My worse surprise was when I was checking a big transformer winding with a DC buzzer. When I removed the test clips, I drew a 1/2" spark to my hand and I was unable to breath.
But the violin part is that I may be the only person who will only plug his electric violin setup into a lightning/surge arrester I'm also thinking about a ground strap

I can't say as I blame you. Once bitten, twice shy!
