Yeah FM I hope they move too. Again today they pounded on my wall. The landlord told me that they moved here from Japan and lost family members from that huge earthquake they had. The landlord also told me that she is getting a lot of complaints about them. I don't know, my brother still owns a house in Naples, Florida and he never uses it. I'm thinking about calling him to make a deal but I get so much session recording opportunities here. Just frustrating jimi-hendrix

(yah got to explore the whole forum - lots of stuff going on here): jimi-hendrix

Up until 3 days ago I didn't even know we could go back in the post pages. LB helped flip off my "stupid switch" on that one. facepalm Basically my biggest problem with the site is there are no directions on how to use it. duncecap

I love your cat Dillenger, He just runs up gives you a little head butt to say I love you and hops away on a secret mission.  :D

Glad to hear your landlord gave you the go to play. Most places have a time when "noise" is acceptable. Between those times you could probably run a jack hammer in your living room and they really shouldn't be able to do much about it, but everywhere is different.

Looking forward to Let It Be, your progress thread. clap

As for it getting heated about animals being abused, yeah, it's easy to go there.  I am in the same frame of mind as Cat. My animals are just tiny little members of the family that seem better behaved then the kids. Besides, the kids won't hum with me while I play Niel Gow's Lament and Twinkle Twinkle, the macaw does.exactly

Head Cheese- It's not your playing that scares away Kopo.. It's that you freed the Viola monsters and they are going to get him! My one dog is terrified of the instrument itself, and plastic grocery bags. If they aren't near her she is ok with everything. (She has issues)

This is Peanut who you will hear in the background if I record anything.

On "Cheap eBay violins" … Just tell people they are like a Charlie Brown Christmas Tree.  With a little love, and some practice, they too can be made beautiful.

Wow you got me laughing RP. I have a brand new grand daughter (two months old) that we call peanut. Anyways I want to tell a quick story before I log off. when I lived in Mpls. MN I lived with a girl that loved birds. She Had a cage full of finches and I could not understand why anyone would put so many birds in a cage cause they have wings to fly. I would open the cage door for them and let them fly around the apartment and my girlfriend would get so mad at me but they always would come back to the cage because that was where their food was. One day we took out our air conditioner because it broke down and that window was open and yep, I let out the finches out of their cage not thinking about the open window next to the cage. They all flew out the window. They were all over the neighborhood (15 or 20 finches). We kept the window open hoping they would fly back in and most of them did over a couple of days. This is a true story.

Gads! You're lucky they came back! You reminded me of a funny video, if you had watched the finches you should enjoy this  :D

Then you should stay in Calif., Florida is culturally deprived. I used to do a lot of recordings but there aren't that many anymore. There was a full time orchestra called "Philharmonic of Florida" that folded and last year to make ends meet I had to play in 8 different part time pick up orchestras. Thank goodness so many rich people want to get married in Florida.

exactly I have between 1 and 4 weddings a week from Sept to June.

I sure do understand that FM. Wedding gigs do pay well for sure though. But I need those repeat royalty checks ;-)
