I received my iPad Pro 12.9” to use for my sheet music, so that I can actually see it.

Congrats! I've been using a 12.9 iPad Pro for about a year. Have loads of music in it and would feel handicapped without it!

Let me know if you actually can see the sheet in full, without having to swipe or scroll.

Ok, my first concern would be can I see the full sheet on the screen, and then can I read the music from the stand while the full sheet is displayed.

My conductor is using a full tablet pc to read the full score.

I have not used it at my stand yet. I am waiting to order a stand that will hold it securely. Waiting a few says to make sure the one I think will be good is the one I want.

I am loading and annotating my music for now. Tagging, organizing, etc. I did print one of lesson songs with annotation. The annotations I did with forScore are a bit neater and clearer.

I use mine on regular music stands. Displays a full sheet. foreScore lets you organize music into groups in any order. Using  blue tooth page turner I can turn pages without stopping playing. When I use it for piano I don't use the page turner since my feet are busy enough on the pedals. I pull my sets into groups every week in the order I play them. I just touch the corner of the iPad to turn pages. Easier than turning a real page.

To get your music into the iPad I used a scanning app. You take a picture of your music with it and transfer that into forScore. I probably have 300 or more sheets in it so far.

I am reluctant to use the 12.9” on my flimsy stand. Today, however, I did try it very carefully just to see how the music would look. It is much easier. The music is clearer, the annotations are easier to read than the pencil markings. The red I used to make notes showed up clearly.

The lit screen also made it clearer and easier to read.

I cannot wait to be able to order my stand. It will be a few more days.

What I am looking forward to using the metronome and recording features in forScore.

At least with the clearer printed copy, I will have pages that will be easier to read in my lessons. The red notation of my instructor’s fingering preferences re much easier to see.

Will let you know more after I get my stand and use it instead of my paper sheet music when playing.

Besides those features cid, you can also upload music files, mp3's on the tablet and connect them to the sheet music for playback.
It's a bit tough to figure it out at first but after you do, it's pretty easy and a lot of fun.
I have a pedal to turn pages or scroll down.

I am looking forward to using the metronome and record when playing.

I also, uploaded and great 1st - 7th fingering chart for my cello to the forScore. It will be right there when I need it. Just stated Chanson Triste in my lesson yesterday. There are a lot of position changes. Love getting off first position! Having the chart right in the forScore files will be extremely helpful.

A few more days and I can order the stand. I only allow what can be paid off in full on the charge card, minus a little padding for emergency charges. I do not carry a balance over to the next month. Just waiting for the billing cycle to end. Until then, I am getting familiar and loading some music I will be using, and annotating where needed. Love the ability to annotate.
