Ok so I decided to let go of the whole black head I was sporting the past couple years and wanted to have once more my bangs and sides purple. In order to save money I decided to do it myself, go from black to white-blonde in order for the purple to stick well and give a vibrant shade.
First disaster: yesterday my hair turned carrot after I used half the bottle of bleach 40% volume and I stupidly went ahead and applied the color (Purple Haze)... ya well the hair was everything but blue! I t was still carrot at some place, a few dots of purple and mostly green!
Second disaster: at midnight I decided to pour the rest of the bleach on my hair... it went a slightly ligter green and reapplied color (I slept with it). This morning I was greenish turquoise like a 4 months old punk green that need to be redone!
Third disaster: So I went back to the pharmacy and bough a new bleach+color, re-did my bleach because my hair was still looking healthy and... burned my scalp! I was careful but still managed to get a chemical burn it was oozing! and my hair still was not blond enough, more like pastel olive with blonde here and there.
Right now: I gave another bleach (far away from my scalp) right after, 20% volume only this time and ended up with this. You can still see a sick green blondish but it's waaaay better. The burn is hurting when I touch it but stopped oozing and hurting. My face regained also it's color, it was so red even if I applied vaseline!
So please wish me luck for applying my purple, if it turns green once more I will be so depressed! I've been 2 days on this and probably would have saved myself pain and a burn for slightly more $ at a hairdresser. I'm so tired .

The burns stopped oozing but my scalp is super pink and hurt when I touch it, my sides hurt a bit also, I actually saw some white burned skin at 2 places it's scary but no hair fell off and the rest is not too dry I will condition it like crazy for the next month and cut a bit the tips that splitted open.
I think I look super *not me* in blonde lol but it was funny to see how I would look anyway if I wanted that. My son hates my blond hair even if I told him dying them chick yellow would be cool. He was sure I would keep them like that and was relieved when he saw the purple dye bottle, it's called lusty lavender lol. It's just a gel it cannot hurt my hair and I'm keeping it on it on for 4 hours before taking it off at midnight!

Success! The crappy ipod picture doesn't give credit to how gorgeous this purple is (nor my squinting eyes in the morning sun)! My burns are not visible and started making a scab already. I showed my hair to a hairdresser I know and she said my hair is not even damaged! So I had luck in my badluck lol. I'm very happy with my color and the contrast with the black hair in the back is so nice.

Morning sunlight is bad for the complexion anyway. I saw on tv once (years ago when I still watched tv) where this guy was outdoors when the sun came up and his complexion just was wrecked. He started crumbling and there was smoke and stuff. I have always tried to avoid it after seeing what happened to him. He was even somebody important, a count or something, I think.
