I live in Southeast Michigan, Brasswind and Woodwind is located in North Ohio, usually a package from Ohio to Michigan takes one/two days to arrive. I bought a VOX mini headphone amp on Aug 24 and I was informed by e-mail that the item was shipped by WW BW with UPS "Mail Innovations" (?). For three days the tracking number does not work or it's considered non-existent. Finally, on August 28, the track search says that the item has been transferred by UPS to the US Postal Service. It is August 31st at night and the tracking number is still non existent at the USPS web site.
I wrote several messages to the WW BB customer service and I received inpersonal replies that say "Sorry, every item that weight less than one pund is shipped by us with UPS Mail Innovations, and this is how UPS Mail Innovations shipping system works, you can expect delivery in 14-15 days (!!!)
I am highly underwhelmed. I do not care about what shipping system they choose, this is not a justification, I care about their customer service which is just horrible. They should make clear that when a disgraced customer buys something weighting less than one pound, he could wait up to two weeks or over before receiving the item, and they don't.
