Emily, I was thinking of somewhere near Lisbon, in Portugal, I have been all over Europe, Italy is the most beautiful country I have seen, its like a film set quite incredible, I also love Spain but its a bit arid, portugal though is like a mix of the two countries, in Lisbon itself lots of the buildings are covered in blue tiles which have patterns and designs on them, the railway station is something to behold. Austria is quite stunning as Andrewh would tell you so I love Vienna but I also like the sun and in Lisbon you cant go wrong.

Cant beat a sunny day

Sounds like a GREAT retirement move! 

What's the music like there?  I've posted a handful of Galician tunes - you'd be somewhat in the vicinity of Galicia. (lol)

I'm worried right now that my Daughter will decide to move too far away from me (with all 7 of my Grandkids). (lol)

...I really have too much stuff & too many things just to my liking to even be thinking of following anywhere, but I've had the rug pulled out from under me in the past - suppose it's silly to think it can't happen again! 

 

 

...as long as I don't end up "The Old Cat Lady".
