So today at my third lesson I was invited to play at the recital July 1.  Solo...I said..Uh no way..but I am playing two pieces with the group.  One I have two weeks to learn. Scarborough Fair... I am so nervous and so excited.  Wasn't I supposed to have a first recital in 1, 2, 3 grades.... I feel a little awkward...but it comes with the territory..  I want to be a violinist and play music for people...(the WORLD)..so this is how it begins... O MI Gosh!

I think I am playing with a 4th grader and a high school student..

🙂

Break a leg, coolpinkone!

Good luck, CPO! Let us know how it goes. Better yet, post a video if someone shoots one.

roflol You know just what to say don't you Dennis.

I think you will be a perfect example for other adults to see that adults can start to learn as well. They probably don't realize that.
