OK, this is a cello story, not a violin story, but I thought it might be of interest. I remember some discussion in a thread a while back about flying with a violin, so some folks might feel some empathy for this poor man and his story about flying with a Guarneri cello made in 1669.

WOW, that's quite a story.  What recourse do you suppose he had  in the end ? After reading the letter he received from the head office. Probably just happy his cello wasn't dammaged.

Actually I was waiting for the horrible ending.
