I admit to being a sugar addict, and that's too much for me!Β
π€... well, maybe not.Β
We're having Chocolate Belgian Waffles, layered with Cherry pie filling, topped with Whipped cream & Almond granola, along with Honey-Baked Ham, etc... when all the Grandkids come over Sunday, for Easter Brunch. (lol)Β Β
...was even contemplating strawberry quiche, but thought that's a bit of overkill. π€£
Just hope the weather's nice, or we'll have 7 Kids ready to explode with sugar energy - going crazy inside the house!Β

We don't have Kellogs Peeps in the UK. Well, not on the shelves I go to. Usually I only eat cereal when there's a heatwave, then Crunchy Nut Cornflakes with ice-cold milk are the only thing that does it for me.
I had my first ever Twinkie less than a week ago.
It was OK, predictable, although the sponge was a little drier than I'm used to - that's probably good - if it was moister it would probably be due to extra palm oil.
I'm a sugar-addict. I can't eat a biscuit/cookie/cake/crackers without eating the whole packet/cake. That's why I hadn't eaten a Twinkie before now - I'd seen them in packs of 12 and I didn't want to go there, lol! In fact the Twinkie stuck in my throat a little bit, so with hindsight I'd have been safe with 12, although they'd have shown up on my HbA1c reading in the summer.
But it's really frustrating drinking tea with nothing to nibble. I'm going to buy some dark chocolate because I don't find it moreish, and I get bored with it quickly. That might work when I'm drinking tea.

I think Twinkies are made differently than they were when I was young--don't like the way they taste now.
Reeses are the best.Β Also like Swedish Fish.Β And, for some reason, I eat Twizzlers when I go to the movie theater.
Characterize people by their actions and you will never be fooled by their words.
