I think what bill was trying to say from his original post and these stats, is that even though there are hundreds of members only a few contribute regularly, less than ten or even that many ,as shown just recently with the xmas project,  a lot of people just turn up once a year, to join that, even some brand new members this year, not heard from any of them since. Nothing wrong with that obviously up to them, but I think thats what Bill was getting at, could be wrong though.
