I cannot believe this afternoon was warm enough to sit on my front porch, with my Fiddlerman Concert Viola, and play some songs, with my mute on, of course!

Here it is the second half of November and it was 65°. I will take it!

@mouse that sounds like a great way to spend the day!

except for maybe Christmas Eve and Day you can keep the snow up your way.  Im looking forward to the above average temps theyve promised this winter.

Oh, no @ABitRusty , I will share any snow we get. Not a problem. I will even share the lion’s share with you.  😊

I hope the Group Project is not a prophecy.

65? No way for me, that's uncomfortably cold.

It's in the mid-60s here right now, and I think of it as unseasonably cold because we're normally in the mid to upper 70s at this time or year. (And this is the coldest place I've ever lived. I'm more cold-tolerant than I used to be. At one point in my life I thought anything below 80 was cold.)

Hey!

You can always add layers of clothing to get warm...
There's only so much you can take off to cool down!

I'll take the cooler weather, but must have more sunshine!

I rather be too hot than too cold even though you can always add clothing. However, I will sweat when it's too hot....
Like Andrew, 65 is way too cold for me. I'm good at 73-74F.

When you are looking at -20 below in the next few months and not anything close to the 65 until Spring, you jump on that 65. I would have preferred 70-75. This time of year, 65 is golden.

@Mouse -

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, hope you enjoyed your day 'cause you'll get tomorrow what we have today!

Hint... it's not warm. (lol)

We are supposed to be in the mid 40's all week. I can deal with that.

Mid 60s -70s for the week here in Georgia.  I grew up in NY/NJ, but spent most of my military career in warmer places, & now live in central Georgia.  Guess it’s made me soft—much prefer the warmer climates now.  Drove up to NY around this time last year—had to buy an ice scraper for my car because I didn’t own one.

This summer I was playing outside in temperatures up to 100. I'm fine with that, and the only reason I don't go out with my viola in hotter weather than that is to protect the viola. I grew up playing soccer when it was 110 and humid. I think anything under 70 is too cold, though.

I think our bodies adjust to the climate we are in, as our tolerable norm.

@Mouse -

Maybe you could change the title of this thread to "Is the weather nice enough to play outside today?".

It's cold & downright dreary here... was 35°F most of the day.

Disappointed EmoticonsGeez, guess I might as well go learn another one of those melancholy Welsh Fiddle tunes!  They must have my weather over there. (sigh)

Nope, my title is just fine. It just did the normal noodling around. 😁
