My guess is that amateur recordings make things worse which makes the ViolinTay videos even better.  And also allow that the young lady is strangling her violin with a shoulder rest but I can forgive that in the big picture.  smile

The room is EXTREMELY important for quality sound. She is playing with a background track and there might be a little room (effect) added. Also there is doubling of the melody on that track. I'm not sure whether or not it is a karaoke track. Does anyone know where she got it from?
