Happy World Fiddle Day, everyone!
I had no idea that there was such a day until I saw a posting about it on Facebook a few moments ago. Apparently, it started last year and this is only the second annual World Fiddle Day.

I think that I'll celebrate with a nice long practice session later this afternoon, while enjoying a celebratory libation.
How are you going to celebrate?
When the work's all done and the sun's settin' low,

My daughter's string orchestra had a concert last Saturday and the performance was amazing, they all did great including my daughter who's always in her la la land (she even recited a poem she wrote to go with a piece of music composed by one of her advance fellow violinists; it is part of the program: story telling with string attached - the more advanced kids composed music, and other illustrates and did the poetry). I guess we will celebrate it by going to my daughter's string orchestra's celebration party this afternoon and to the pre-party concert:) and of course practice some old time fiddle tunes along with classical tunes:)

After work today I will do a little work at home and then > LET the CELEBRATION begin >> I will probably play and enjoy adult beverages outside. Might even build a fire and play by it > Happy Fiddle Day!!!!!
