Okay, so I need a real life violin instructor and have been having trouble finding one here in Gnaw Bone, Indiana.  I decided to go to a community band practice to see if anyone there might know a name I could contact.  It's a 40 member band.  They had no one in the percussion section.  I now play drums for them.  We had a concert two weeks ago.  Today the director sent a name in an email, so I called the lady.  In two weeks I start my lessons with her.  She is driving here from California.  I feel rather special.
