Why should I be surprised that Itzak Perlman could play bluegrass music? I'm sure he could play punk rock on a violin if he wanted to.
I had forgotten that John played the mando, too. He could play the fiddle, too. Here he is playing fiddle in Thank God I'm a Country Boy (which my new signature is from):

I figured most things have been posted before. Being the lazy chap that I am, I just opted to not search through 6,329,801 forum posts to check. 
It's funny how simple things like videos, be it from FM himself or others can give us the inspiration to keep trudging forward in our musical journey. Keep posting oz, your library of congress idea was pretty amazing.

Being ousted by Itzhak Perlman isn't a bad thing. The David Garrets or Vanessa Maes of the world will be standing in line to play along side you in a few years, ousting us
