Amanda,
Merry Christmas to you and to all of the Fiddlerman forum members and lurkers who haven't joined yet
I'm fortunate to get to play Oh Holy Night in a duet with a pianist named Lori, then sing Who do you think with Nancy on Sunday. Nancy and I have sung together for 42 years now, she has a great voice and great vocal control both lead and harmony.
Mark
Master the Frog and you have mastered the bow.

Yes, indeed, happy holidays and winter season to all.I’m working through a book of Christmas carols (on my on; not ready for public consumption yet).
Anyone have snow?
We had some snow Christmas Eve night. It snowed all night but wasn't cold enough for anything to be on the ground the next morning.

Merry Christmas everyone!
No snow here yet, but some great beach weather
Hope you all had a great holiday and that you'll have a fantastic New Years Eve/Day......
I'd take beach weather any time of the year. Snow is pretty but I sure cannot stand the cold especially the older I get.

Merry Christmas to all,And yes we got snow, my 8 year old granddaughter from Texas had never seen snow before so we played out side today making snow angles, snow men and burring a little girl up to her neck in snow. great day.

Oh I cannot imagine the look on your granddaughter's face! How wonderful for her that she got the opportunity to see snow this year.

Thanks Amanda, Merry Christmas to you also. It appears you have a new web page, just saw the front page, haven't dug deeper yet, hope to see more of your fabulous artwork and of course hear your violin progress![]()

Oh thanks for checking it out! My art obviously isn't for everyone's taste but I like to use it as a way to create my own worlds or convey a message. I warn you! I am no professional. I taught myself so it isn't professional quality lol. I am one for teaching myself new skills. Violin is next on my list. That is more of a dream than a skill to simply learn. I've wanted this since I was a little girl.

Amanda, it you do as well on the violin as you have with your art, you'll do fine.I like the dreamy character of your artwork, reminds me a lot of this video of the "Flower Song" from Delibes opera Lakme.
Wow! The Flower Duet! That is quite literally one of my favorite opera/duet/song of all time. It's my current ringtone on my phone. That is funny you linked that particular song. My favorite part starts at 2:22 in the video you sent me. Speaking of the video you sent, I've never actually seen that one but it certainly is interesting and very imaginative. Thank you.

Amanda, did you share a link to your art here? I might have missed it. Would love to check out your art.
I did not share it in a post but I think it's in my profile. I am not actually sure where Bob found my work. Here is the link though: http://mandeex88.wixsite.com/artwork
You can find the bulk of my stuff under the "gallery" section. The artwork at the top under the gallery section is my newer stuff and as you scroll down it gets older. Like I mentioned to Bob, my work isn't to everyone's taste lol. Thank you for taking the time to take a look.
