It occurred to me while in deep concentration on whatever I was trying to do on violin, that maybe I need to put labels on the strings at the peg end and put a list of alphabet letters on the music stand.  I sometimes just go blank and can't remember the names of the strings or what letter comes before f.  Of course, sometimes I can't remember my wife's name so maybe its just me.
