I have been decorating and created a place were my instruments all now live rather than being all over the house, the room has still to be carpeted but this came first

Very good! I also like having my instruments close at hand where I can pick one up and play it without hesitation or complication. And I like being able to see them -- they are ll works of art!

I wish the wall did have sound proofing, in fact I wish the whole house had it, if I won the lottery thats the first thing I would have done, and the second would be a villa in portugal:)

I think you will hear a big difference just with carpeting.
I seem to recall seeing something about whole abandoned villages selling fairly cheap in Portugal... might be a good time!
