Did you guys name your instruments?
My violin is named Johann.
My bow is named Pony. ( Because it has horse hair)
My extra bow is named Bach.
My old violin is named Stringette.
My old bow is named Stick. ( Everyone laughs when I tell them that.)
I really hope I'm not the only one naming my instruments. LOL.

@SiennaAViolin -
You picked VERY cute names!
I named my 5-string Violin "Mortimer" after Mortimer Brewster, the quirky character Cary Grant played in the 1944 film, "Arsenic and Old Lace" - a marvelous black comedy.
Starting out learning to play, I imagined all sorts of Cary Grant's facial expressions across my Violin - luckily it turned out to be just as charismatic as Grant and kept me moving forward.
When I first heard how wonderfully deep, dark & mysterious my new 5-string Viola sounded I thought of a few people, but there was "Edgar" - 3 of them actually came to mind... have you seen the film "Men In Black"?
Edgar!
In a Viola Suit!
...Men In Black.
...there's something inside with a deep voice. (lol)
I'm a fan of the haunting dark writing of "Edgar Allen Poe" and the old Vincent Price films inspired by them.
Then there's also the wonderful fantasy adventures & science fiction stories of "Edgar Rice Burroughs", that my Father turned me onto as a child - "Tarzan", "John Carter of Mars" and others on Venus, the Moon, even great Westerns!
AND, Sharon was nice enough to point out that the name "Edgar" means "Fortunate & Powerful".
I know when I make my final decision on an Arcus bow, it will definitely be worthy of a name. Maybe something like "Lady Justice", "Bettie", or "Catwoman"... must keep 'the Boys' in line and bring out their best. 😁
