Hi, I been snooping around this last week reading some of your posts and watching videos trying to find courage to join in. I'm very impressed by how brave you are.
I'm learning the violin, piano and ukulele on my own. Took IRL violin lessons for a couple of month four years ago, but basically haven't played since. But now I wanna play again and am in the process of refresh my memory of what I learned four years ago, and it's quit hard. For teaching myself the piano I first of all got myself a really nice electric piano earlier this year and also watching Andrew Furmanczyk amazing lessons on YouTube and reading the book Fundamentals of Piano Practice. On my ukulele I mostly fingerpick chords and improvise stuff.

And you speak and write in at least two languages. Learning three instruments at one time sounds very hard to me. You make it sound like it's no big deal. Very cool. Anyway, welcome to Fiddlerman's site. Nice to meet you.

Fiddlerman:
Yes, it thought it sounded like you didn't, that's why I pointed it out.
David:
Oh, really? I see it more like they have different personality and energies and give me different things emotionally. Like if I'm in a certain mood I can just pick the instrument that suites me best at the moment. Those times I been the most pleased about my ukulele playing I have been in a very specific emotional state. And if I would have tried to play violin instead I would probably ended up feeling very frustrated instead. I don't know if that make any sense to you. I'm not sure how to explain it. They complement each other. I can explore different sides of my self and my feelings.
