OK, is it an English thing or what. The second two all start at 20 yrs old. Isn't a choice in there going to be difficult to analyze?

It makes plenty of sense and I've experienced the same thing. As a matter of a fact, I just changed my strings after having used the Zyex intensely for about 12 weeks to Dominant. The reason was that I had a set of Dominant strings in my case for about a year now from when I used Dominant and am not nearly as happy with them as I am with the Zyex. Much more metallic and harsh sound. Not really the same power either. I'll be happy to change again in about 5 weeks.

I'll be ordering strings again soon. I was playing the other day and my A string just didn't sound right. I tuned it and it still was off. The next morning I came downstairs went to pick up the violin and the A string had broken during the night.  That will teach me to turn up the amp amp go crazzy.
