There are several people here who will give you a qualified answer but there are at least two questions to answer:

Where do you intend to play?  Your rec room or on stage?

What is your budget?

What is your budget for the amplifier?

MGN - has some great knowledge about amps and recording equipment and recommends Marshalls AS50D though it would cost you 2,000:-

Check this thread. There are others but I can't find them.

Maybe he has another suggestion more in your budget.

LOL, I missed Olivers question. Sometimes I load pages and don't have time to answer them then answer much later without reloading.

I use an inexpensive pedal made by Zoom and is the G-2 model.

There are probably many better ones but I have been too cheap. frown

I suppose you can pick one up for 1000:- DKK

Not sure but check this link at prisjakt.

They are cheaper here but I don't know about shipping and taxes.

Like FM said about another thread I talked about... I really do suggest a Marshall AS50D. It is an amp and also a PA with 2 speakers and even a tweeter. Has built in reverb and chorus and all kinds of stuff. I play a lot of solo gigs with it and get compliments all the time how well the sound fills the room. It sounds great quit and loud.
