On just a quick listen, it sounded to me like the backing track might not be in the right key for the version of the song you are playing from. Have you had your teacher play it through for you to check the score against the backing track to see if it sounds the way you feel it should?

Vanessa May Plays it way higher but I used the actual sheet music for it... I have the sheet music in one of my books.

Your playing sounds and looks ok to me.. But there is something off in the mix somewhere. It might just be my ears though, or I may be being thrown off by hearing Vanessa Mae mixed in with your playing.
You are doing good, though. Braver than me, for tackling this piece. LOL
(PS: I don't comment on prettiness of ladies or their dresses, since I'm a middle-aged married-with-kids(and grandkids) kind of guy, and I think that would be acting just a bit prowly and/or creepy coming from me. LOL.)

I know i have a really hard time with the part that goes down fairly quickly.... I think I literally had to do a million takes and its not perfect... For this song I have to change positions.... finding my way back to first is a pain.
I also know there are a few notes in there my finger for some reason is just a little off for... i always have to try to remember to bring my finger up just a hair... I still have one more verse to the song I have to learn but there are a billion incidentals so I am still on to practicing the first part of the song...
If there is any advise anyone can give so I can practice more... I would really appreciate it

I have not listened to the piece or the version you are working from really critically. But one possibility for the notes being just a little different in finger position here and there may be that there is more than one way to play the intonation on a violin. You can use an electronic tuner and check some notes on the best players in the world, and sometimes they will check as "out of tune". It is on purpose. For solos and vocal melodies, often violin players will use a different intonation scheme, and to get the sound you end up having to play the notes just a little off from what you'd usually think of as "in tune perfectly".
One piece I've been working on sounds simple when I listen to it, but to copy what the singer is doing to get the right feel, I have to use three slightly different pitches for the same note, depending on where it falls in the melody. LOL
Singers and violinists do that sort of thing quite often. But it can drive you a bit nuts when you're trying to figure out a piece and you know you have the right note but it just doesn't sound "on".
So those notes probably *are* just a little off what we'd usually think of as "perfectly in tune" by an electronic tuner (or a piano). It is done intentionally to make a note feel a little darker and sadder or brighter and more uplifting and etc.
What I do sometimes when a piece is giving me trouble is I take it in very small bites, as short as one line or phrase at a time and play around with it until it is feeling right. Just pick any small "trouble spot" and practice it by itself, and then it will often go better when you play it later in the context of the whole piece/song.
