I think that would be great... if we could get some military pics of fellow soldiers (of any branch) playing the violin in uniform I could throw together a military tribute calendar as well. Any thoughts on that? Anyone? perhaps a AR-15 laying next to a violin or a view overlooking the ruined city with a violin leaned up right next to a dirty rifle... wow, the ideas are endless.

I love the military tribute calendar idea. My chiropractor has a AR-15, the only time my parents go to his house is UFC night. It might be a little tricky to get a pic with the AR-15 and violin but I can ask my mother how we can obtain such a picture. Or maybe I can ask my dad, just have to see what type of guns he has in his collection.

That's a possibility, but just placing the two together isn't what I had in mind. I was thinking of the two in actual combat situations. Perhaps thousands of miles from home and in the middle of an engagement, the precious moment of music to take your soldiers mind from the fray.
