I'm borrowing the fiddlerman's topic
I'm proud of my daughter, too! She started to take violin lessons since July and began to play the variation of twinkle twinkle little star as well as the theme song last week, and she played one of them at her studio class today! Too bad i was at work and didn't get to see her play:( and too bad I just realized that we missed her NICU reunion this past sunday:( we were there every year, it's nice to see all the nurses and doctors who took good care of her and supported us.

How very lovely and talented! You have every reason to be proud.
I'm guessing this isn't just a hobby for her?

I don't think she is talented [edited: Sorry, i didn't read HeadCheese's post carefully, I meant my daughter, fiddlerman's daughter is talented in singing, mine is not (see other posts under "how to sing"), although she is getting a little better after taking 3 months violin lessons and started a music class at school for about three weeks], I just want her to be able to at least play an instrument down the journey of her life.

Cool,
It would be nice to see a video clip of her playing sometime.
I am planning on that:P
How early was she born?
She was born at 32.5 weeks, so she is 7.5 weeks early, didn't know how to suck, forgot to breath, heart beat stopped, so it was pretty scarry. It's all over now and she is doing great! No one could tell she was early.
