We kind of do our own gigs. I am hired by a contractor to do a lot of fancy weddings. It's not uncommon to do 4 weddings at fancy hotels on the beach from Palm Beach to Miami Florida. On occasion we can even be flown to the islands on special occasions. Everything from duo's to octets.

My daughter does a lot of restaurants and hotels events. She also has an agent and does her own thing. Doen't need a band.

We have done a few gigs together but not many.

Modern technology is incredible when you think about it. Maybe 15 years back she would not have made it. Happy that all is well. Hope she sticks to the fiddle.

thumbs-up

Yes, she is lucky! many babies are luckier nowadays. When she was in the NICU, there were babies that was born at 20 weeks, 12 or 13oz, defects, etc and they survive. Modern technology is amazing and incredible!

i hope she will stick to the fiddle, too.

The original video that started this post of her singing was like an angel. However, that 2-bit homeless busker in the background couldn't hurt that voice no matter how hard  he tried. Your MOTHER must have tons of talent for you to be gifted like that. wink

Nicely done Joanna (oh, and Pierre) thumbs-up
