Currently working on getting badges to show up horizontally. Should hopefully figure that out within a week. Thanks for your patience.

I do initiate with REPLY. Did you see my e-mail?
I think it is important to solve the problem. Did you notice that the topic has 145 hits already? So, there are quite a few interested. Eventually, maybe an instruction sheet like a HELP could be posted.
IF I am the only one with the problem, even that is worth knowing and things can go on as usual.

Really, really, really horrible microphone on a crappy digital movie cam. The cam is about 5 years old. I will be getting a new cam soon. I did say I was tone deaf, but it does sound much better in person!
Thanks for fixing this FiddlerMan!

Really it sounds nothing like this in person! I have been using the tuner included with the violin. I was using it on Chromatic, but I found a setting for violin. I have each open string in the green zone. I will double check with your tuner though. I have been known to make mistakes....lol
I will work on getting my first finger up a bit higher.
Also, I have no shyness or bashfulness in me. Like a friend of mine always says, "They can't eat ya!"
I think the autoplay is my fault, I will see if I can get in and change it, if not I will delete the post. It will kill this thread if people have to hear it everytime they come here! AAAHHHH! Make it stop!!!
Working hard and having fun, who could ask for more!
Thanks

I just heard your rendition of "Smoke On The Water". Very nice, I had that on a reel to reel deck. Old school, they were like 12 in dia reels. The deck was left in a home my Dad was selling for a very sick man. His son gave it to me for helping clean and pack stuff after the man died. I don't know what I ever did with it. You would think I could remember something that weighed as much as a safe!

To Admin:
Had much trouble starting the Burns video. Much clicking of video toolbar.
Not sure we are out of the woods?
I can't upload my video because I did not make one. Been too busy trouble shooting my troubles. So now, I have forgotten how to play the violin.
( My computer consultant invoice is in snail mail. Special rates for you even if you are hogging all the good permissions. I have almost 400 posts which makes me almost a stock holder

Now, let's see if this thing works.
This is my first attempt to post an MP3 of "Sweet Bunch of Daisies". As you can see, it did not work out that way. Instead, I got an old e-mail from my wife but this is the first time I have posted an MP3 and this is an historic occasion

Sorry that you couldn't edit it. I edited it for you. I guess until I figure out which player to use and get the settings to work we'll have to do it differently.
After uploading your file, copy the url address then close the media window. Either paste it directly in the post or write a title, mark it and click on the link tool to attach the correct link.
Glad to hear that you are not shy. Means you have more fun.
Once again, peace and quiet on the dumb question thread. Thank you FiddlerMan! Hey, I wonder if Stan Lee could make a super hero named FiddlerMan!
Just got called for five days of storm restoration work in the Indiana, Michigan area. Looks like no violin for a few days.

OK, I purchased a new digital video camera. Kodak Play>Sport. Damn thing saves in MP4 format, none of my video editing software can import that. Mac fruits to the rescue. The camera came with Arcsoft Media Impressions. A very weak editing suite. I was able to export as an AVI, then edit in Windows Movie Maker. I saved as a WMV for broadband at 150Kbps. I wanted to keep the file size small. Now there is a high pitched squeal that is not there in the AVI or the MP4. Regardless it sounds much better, even threw in some bad vibrato!
Amazing Grace Filmed in 720p it was 70MB, reduced to 1.5MB. The audio is better than my first attempt, but still pretty poor.

OK more experimenting, this one was filmed in 720p60, not sure what it means, but it is one step above 720p. I reduced the microphone input and saved the WMV file at 512Kbps. I think the audio is much better on this one, you can really hear my poor fingering! lol. The file size is 3.5MB. I am such a bandwidth hog!

Reduced the volume even more on this one. Everything else is still the same. Very short song, the file size is 1.5MB.
