Cool.   Music has always been a "background / hobby" in my life - at your age I was already playing piano-accordion and guitar ( hahaha - not at the same time - Scottish sense of humour! ) - but - science, technology and engineering disciplines had the upper hand - and that's what my career has been.  However, throughout these 40 or so years - music was "never far away" and now, semi-retired, it has become a passion.

I have NO idea whatsoever how life would have turned out had I chosen the other path.....  what I *do* regret is although having had music as a hobby, I never really took the time out until recently ( a "coursera" online course with Edinburgh Uni ) - and boy - did it pay-off - well worth the effort....
