Spring Term is upon me so I don't expect to be on the forums/chats more than once a week. No promises though, it's a tough addiction to break.
Why? well, I am taking 5 classes this term as opposed to 4 last term and I really have found what works well for me as a learning style. This means long hours writing/ transcribing information. Last term I got sick and ended up in the hospital for a few weeks and it was really hard to catch up. I ended up last term with a 3.5 gpa instead of the 4.0 I knew I could have achieved. My goal this term is for that 4.0 and nothing is gonna stand in my way!
I have also started exercising more and this makes me tired, so I plan on an early to bed strategy as well.
I won't be totally absent though, I might lurk in the chat on a study break or peruse the forum threads for anything Suzuki related or interesting to me.
I am also as I am sure everyone is aware by now, participating in some live video hangouts which is also going to require some additional practice and study time as well.
I am committed to Australia Day, which I am practicing Waltzing Matilda for that. There is also a rumor of The Godfather theme party which I am excited about.
So I will still be here, while not being so much here.
It is great fun to interact with this community that has taught me so much, I plan on being around for a long time to come.

In order to use the colleges practice rooms, I think I just agreed to join their orchestra!? I am due in the orchestra room at 2:30. (All I really want is a quiet place to practice during the 5 hour gap between classes on Mondays.) that's what happens I guess when you take a violin to classes.

I did two semesters a couple of years ago and enjoyed it. I love learning. Whenever I walked through the hall where they taught science and technology, I felt like I was in a museum.
I enjoyed the English classes. The professors seemed pretty open to whatever I wrote. I didn't like a couple of the classes like Communication and Anthropology in particular because I didn't feel that the professors were very open-minded. In anthropology, I would make suggestion for a better world and the professor kept poo-pooing my thoughts and would mark me down.
My favorite professor was my Philosophy professor. He was open to whatever a student had to say as long as he built his case in the paper.
It is true that I usually do march to the beat of a different drummer.
Good luck in college. My hat is off to you.
