The stupid person I am, was working on a small wind turbine to supplement the solar panels on one of our barns. I was spinning up the turbine with my finger when it got stuck and crack, crack the turbine stopped.  You should see my hold on a bow now. I got the finger pretty straight and put on splint but it's hard to hold the bow with a metal index finger.  No one said you had to be smart to play violin.

Sorry to hear that Kevin. On the bright side it was a finger on your bowing hand and not your other one. It may be hard to bow, but in the other case it would be downright impossible to finger with that splint. Might as well tune your violin into an open chord voicing and play double stops like a slide guitar. (Kidding)

thats too bad to hear about that. On that other post I asked you to record your electric and you did anyways. LOL... thats dedication.

Thats why we have kids. Have THEM poke fingers into turbines, impellors, worm drives and reciprocators. Its their turn to learn the lessons.  ;)

Kevin!!!
How long before they are fixed?
Can't you set the fingers into a bow hold?

I am amazed at how old people of my age are.....
