Does anyone have tried this strings? Zyex is really hard to find, even JBmusic( a large music store here in Phils) doesn't have it. :(

Vision is probably very similar to Zyex. I have never tried them though I have used Dominants on and off for over 25 years. Thomastik makes good strings.

I might be able to ship to you but have no idea about the price. I would only charge you whatever the scale says. If you are interested, I can weigh and price the shipping and let you know.

Sure! let me know the total price (D'Addario Zyex+Shipping Cost) and how many days-weeks of shipment?

BTW I only have Debit card w/ no expiration date on it, I tried to use it to activate my Paypal but it didn't work.

PS I definitely buy strings when I get my allowance this month, thanks :)

Shipping would cost you $14.95 with 6-10 working days delivery time, and a Zyex strings set would run $31.99
This is without insurance. Last time I bought insurance to Canada it cost me an extra $15 but that was for a bow. I'll check at the post office if they have a cheaper solution for the whole thing and get back to you.
We can try to capture the amount manually later when you are ready and I get you the exact postage prices. Hopefully I can get the shipping down when I check today.

I checked ebay, and I saw some sellers. They ship their strings through post office and it's really cheap almost free.

I got my allowance today! :), I think I'm ready now....so what should I do next? should I buy directly from fiddlershop?

I'm happy for the business but if you can get sellers on Ebay to ship almost for free you should definitely do it. I don't want you to spend more for buying on my site especially if you have a small allowance. I haven't implemented out of the country postage yet but I'll be more than happy to calculate your total costs if you like.

Sending a violin to the Philippines was very expensive but I can't imagine strings will be. smile

Keep in mind that with UPS all parcels are insured for 100.00 with no extra cost.  On ebay shipping is usually only to the continuous 48 states. Anywhere else is extra. On strings that ship for free or very little the sellers buy in such bulk and add the shipping cost to the price.

I had to buy strings for over $1000 (bought for almost $2000 anyway) from Daddario to get the best price possible, gave and additional 10% this month, and still I don't make more than a few dollars on a set of strings that you see on the right hand banner. The only reason that I make a few dollars is because of the flat rate shipping. Then I have merchant services, packaging materials, but I am glad to do it to bring people to my site. :-)
Normal dealer cost for a Zyex set is about $32. Believe it or not....
