Currently working on getting badges to show up horizontally. Should hopefully figure that out within a week. Thanks for your patience.

Long day.
I was determined to find a better way to handle files than wait ridiculous times for You Tube uploads. (MP4).
The final answer was to use Garage Band to rip out the video from my camera files. That finally worked with a big reduction in file size but the resulting files did not seem to work outside of Garage Band.
This then required a conversion in Itunes to arrive at an MP3 which should load easily on FM.
In addition, I wondered if all the file juggling would reduce sound quality. There is a file attached which isn't anything exciting but I would say that the audio is about the same even with the file abuses.
I can make MP3 recordings with a little hand held device but it is poor audio quality compared to the Flip camera.
If anyone has a quicker, easier solution I will be glad to hear of it.
The violin in the clip is my electric (Aquila) and just about my last effort to make it sound acoustic ..... which it never will .... but it's fun.

Oliver, do you copy the files to your hard drive and work with them there? I downloaded free file conversion software. It works very well, I think. Check out the available programs here:
I've learned so much from my mistakes that I've decided to make some more.

Thanks, I will definitely have a look.
It is all particularly irritating to me because I remember the days before all the modern "improvements". Now, I get a constant stream of new plug-ins, updates, "this program does not recognize", etc.
I can put my videos on the hard drive but I usually begin with files on a thumb drive.

@Gail
I had a look at the nch software site and downloaded the file SWITCHER. It looks like a great program but my Windows computer is not set up for an internet connection. The nch program requires an internet connection in order to work. The fault is here, not with the program.
I downloaded the nch Windows program with a MAC thumb drive and they also offer a MAC version but my MAC can already do the conversions between Itune, Imovie and Garage Band.
Also, the program advertised as "free" is only a demo version and the complete program is $30. A bargain, I'm sure, for anyone without conversion means.
I fortunately have less occasion to post files at all so I'll stay with MAC. (My off-line Windows XP has run flawlessly for years without internet connection and I'm reluctant to spoil that record !
However, I bookmarked the nch site just in case!
I failed to make it clear that the audio clip in original post was what remained of a movie conversion using MAC. I was expecting that all the fancy file tricks might reduce file sound quality but that did not happen. (The original recording was not all that great to begin with
