I came across this - the "Headstand Hornpipe" ( authorship attributed, I believe, to Frederick Link ). It was a photo-copy of a page from a clarinet tuition book -
OK - so - of course - I could not resist - a piece in two-part harmony where part 2 is simply the score backwards.... uh-huh.... cool... so - doing what I do - I transcribed it as two parts into MuseScore. I initially set the voice to violin - but - know what - without doing a lot of messing with it - it wasn't that great sounding... so I went for the clarinet voice - quite pleasing - here's the two-part score - it might be very nice on viola actually - maybe in G - whatever -
And - here - somewhere below - is what it sounds like when played by machine - I quite like it and I might ( if I can force myself away from practicing rolls on fiddle ) re-score it and have a shot on viola - mixing both parts - we'll see )...

LOL - yeah - it is quite clever - well - in a way.... yup not my "cup of tea" but - it works as 2-part harmony and, as I mentioned elsewhere - it's my plan to try it (both parts) in G on viola for fun, if I can schedule in to my other ongoing efforts LOL - don't hold your breath !!! it might get pushed to the bottom of the stack.... yeah - it's fun - but "not that important" at the moment.... lol
